Our helpful service and delivery is and as fast as feasibly possible, including responsibly recycling, dismantling and taking away old beds. We have a charitable agreement with Operation Orphan, Waste Nott Want Not. Thinking of you, the environment and those less fortunate.

We have always taken the time to advise and take orders by phone where necessary, offering all the advantages on an online service. By staying in our long-term premises and with strong relations with our suppliers we are able to keep our costs to a minimum, thus remain highly competitive.

Derby Bed Centre was set up 20 years ago by Phil Johnson who has 40 years’ experience providing quality bed ranges to the people of Derby. Phil Johnson’s son, Stuart Johnson joined the business 10 years ago, taking over from his father five years ago. In the last few years Linda Johnson, Stuart’s Mum joined to merge her established 30-year business, providing ideas for, and fitting a full range blinds, curtains, beautiful fabrics and co-ordinates including the likes of TV’s Angel Sawbridge from Escape to the Chateau, including custom made.

We advise and we sleep on our own brands. We don’t employ a team of salespeople. Stuart is passionate about providing the best and latest technology in beds, mattresses and stylish headboards. This now includes a complete bespoke, made to measure, advisory service if required.

Our newly restyled two-floor showroom on Nottingham Road, near Derby City Centre, is just off Pentagon Island. Please call and visit. You will be made very welcome.
